12. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER ASSEMBLY LH See: Trunk / Liftgate Spring/Service and Repair/Removal
13. REMOVE LUGGAGE CLOSER MOTOR ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the connector.
(b) Remove the 3 bolts and nut.
(c) Remove the luggage closer motor.

Installation

ENGINE HOOD / DOOR: TRUNK LID ACTUATOR: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL LUGGAGE CLOSER MOTOR ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the luggage closer motor with the 3 bolts and nut.

Torque: 5.5 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf)

(b) Connect the connector.

5. INSTALL NO. 2 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK (W/O Rear Cooler) See: Trunk / Liftgate Spring/Service and Repair/Installation
6. INSTALL NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LIGHT ASSEMBLY See: Trunk / Liftgate Spring/Service and Repair/Installation

12. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
13. INSTALL COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH See: Starting and Charging/Charging System/Alternator/Service and Repair/Installation
14. PERFORM INITIALIZATION

(a) Perform initialization See: Testing and Inspection/Programming and Relearning/Repair Instruction - Initialization.

NOTE:
Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
