(a) Install the fan with the nut.

Torque: 6.3 Nm (64 kgf-cm, 56 in-lbf)

4. INSTALL FAN

(a) Install the fan with the nut.

Torque: 6.3 Nm (64 kgf-cm, 56 in-lbf)

5. CHECK COOLING FAN MOTOR OPERATION

(a) Check the cooling fan motors' operation.

(1) Check that the fan rotates smoothly by hand.

(2) Connect the battery to the fan motor connector.

(3) Check that the fan rotates smoothly, and check the motor rotation direction.
HINT: Be careful if the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals of the battery are mistakenly connected to the connector in reverse, as the motor
will operate in the opposite direction.
NOTE:
Make sure there are no malfunction noises or vibrations while the motor is rotating.
