Removal

1UR-FSE EXHAUST: EXHAUST MANIFOLD (for AWD): REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

(a) Remove the engine and transmission See: Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Engine/Removal.

2. REMOVE FRONT FRAME ASSEMBLY See: Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Engine/Removal
3. REMOVE ENGINE OIL LEVEL DIPSTICK GUIDE See: Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Engine/Removal
4. REMOVE NO. 1 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT INSULATOR

(a) Remove the 3 bolts and heat insulator.

5. REMOVE NO. 2 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT INSULATOR

(a) Remove the 3 bolts and heat insulator.

6. REMOVE FRONT ENGINE MOUNTING INSULATOR See: Engine/Drive Belts, Mounts, Brackets and Accessories/Engine Mount/Service and

Repair/Front Engine Mounting/Removal

7. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 ENGINE MOUNTING BRACKET RH See: Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Engine/Removal
8. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 ENGINE MOUNTING BRACKET LH See: Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Engine/Removal
9. REMOVE EXHAUST MANIFOLD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

(a) Disconnect the air fuel ratio sensor connector.

(b) Remove the 8 nuts and exhaust manifold RH.
