Alternator: Service and Repair
Installation

1UR-FSE CHARGING: GENERATOR: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL GENERATOR

(a) Using an E8 "TORX" socket wrench, set the generator with the 2 stud bolts.

Torque: 10 Nm (102 kgf-cm, 7 ft-lbf)

(b) Install the generator with the 2 bolts and 2 nuts.

Torque: 43 Nm (438 kgf-cm, 32 ft-lbf)

(c) Connect the generator connector.
(d) Connect the harness to the +B terminal with the nut.

Torque: 12 Nm (122 kgf-cm, 9 ft-lbf)

2. INSTALL V-RIBBED BELT See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Drive Belts, Mounts, Brackets and Accessories/Drive Belt/Service and

Repair/Installation

3. INSTALL INTAKE AIR CONNECTOR PIPE See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Throttle Body/Service and

Repair/Installation

4. INSTALL NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/Engine/Installation

5. INSTALL FRONT SUSPENSION MEMBER PROTECTOR LOWER See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal

and Replacement/Engine/Installation

6. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Cooling System/Coolant/Service and Repair
7. INSTALL NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Throttle Body/Service and

Repair/Installation

8. INSTALL AIR CLEANER INLET COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Throttle

Body/Service and Repair/Installation

9. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Throttle Body/Service and

Repair/Installation

10. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
