The procedures listed below are for the LH side.
1. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH See: Starting and Charging/Charging System/Alternator/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Removal
2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt
pretensioner activation.

w/ Navigation System (for HDD):

After the engine switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of
memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, be sure to wait for the time specified in the following table
before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
Waiting Time before Disconnecting Cable from Negative (-) Battery Terminal:

When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected See: Testing and
Inspection/Programming and Relearning.
3. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH
(a) for Standard Body:
(1) Remove the rear door scuff plate LH See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Roof Headlining (for Standard Body)/Removal.
(b) for Long Body:
(1) Remove the rear door scuff plate LH See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Roof Headlining (for Long Body)/Removal.
4. REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY
(a) for Power Seat:
Remove the rear seat assembly See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Rear Seat Assembly (for Power
Seat)/Removal.
(b) for 4-Passenger with Ottoman:
Remove the rear seat assembly See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Rear Seat Assembly (for
Ottoman)/Removal.
(c) for 5-Passenger with Ottoman:
Remove the rear seat assembly See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Rear Seat Assembly (for Power
Seat)/Removal
(d) for Fixed Seat:
Remove the rear seat assembly See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Rear Seat Assembly (for Fixed
Seat Type)/Removal.
5. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH LH See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Roof Headlining (for Standard Body)/Removal
6. REMOVE ROOF SIDE GARNISH INNER LH See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Roof Headlining (for Standard Body)/Removal
7. REMOVE REAR HEADER SPEAKER ASSEMBLY (for 19 Speakers)
