2. REMOVE AIR CLEANER INLET COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY   See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Throttle

Body/Service and Repair/Removal

3. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET   See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Throttle Body/Service and

Repair/Removal

4. REMOVE INTAKE AIR CONNECTOR PIPE   See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Throttle Body/Service and

Repair/Removal

5. REMOVE V-RIBBED BELT   See: Drive Belts, Mounts, Brackets and Accessories/Drive Belt/Service and Repair/Removal

6. REMOVE RESONATOR BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the bolt and resonator bracket.

7. REMOVE CRANKSHAFT PULLEY   See: Engine Lubrication/Oil Pump/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Removal

8. REMOVE CRANKSHAFT TIMING GEAR KEY

(a) Remove the crankshaft timing gear key from the crankshaft.

9. REMOVE TIMING CHAIN CASE OIL SEAL

(a) Remove the oil seal with a screwdriver.

Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
