(a) Disconnect the B14 ECU connector.

(b) Disconnect the B6*1 or B10*2 horn connector.

*1: for High Pitched Horn

*2: for Low Pitched Horn

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard resistance:

for High pitched horn

for Low pitched horn

NG --  REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

5. INSPECT STEERING PAD (HORN BUTTON)

(a) Remove the steering pad    See: Steering and Suspension/Steering/Steering Wheel/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Steering

Wheel/Removal.

(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard resistance:
