Removal
AA80E AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION: SHIFT PADDLE SWITCH: REMOVAL
1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt
pretensioner activation.
2. REMOVE STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the steering wheel See: Steering and Suspension/Steering/Steering Wheel/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Steering
Wheel/Removal.
3. REMOVE STEERING PAD SWITCH ASSEMBLY WITH MODULATOR
(a) Disconnect the connector.
(b) Remove the 4 screws and steering pad switch.
4. REMOVE CRUISE CONTROL MAIN SWITCH ASSEMBLY
