Suspension Control Module: Service and Repair
Removal
SUSPENSION CONTROL: SUSPENSION CONTROL ECU: REMOVAL
1. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH See: Starting and Charging/Charging System/Alternator/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Removal
2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt
pretensioner activation.
NOTICE:
w/ Navigation System (for HDD):
After the engine switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of
memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, be sure to wait for the time specified in the following table before
disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

6. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL LOWER See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Air Bag/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Front Passenger Side Knee Airbag Assembly/Removal
7. REMOVE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Air Bag/Service and
Repair/Removal and Replacement/Front Passenger Side Knee Airbag Assembly/Removal
8. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument
Panel/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Removal
9. DISCONNECT CONNECTORS (w/ Clearance Warning ECU)
10. DISCONNECT CONNECTORS (w/ Parking Assist ECU)
11. REMOVE SUSPENSION CONTROL ECU WITH BRACKET
(a) Disconnect the suspension control ECU connectors.
