2. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL

Torque : 140 Nm (1428 kgf-cm, 103 ft-lbf)

3. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

4. INSTALL COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH   See: Starting and Charging/Charging System/Alternator/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/Installation

5. CHECK VEHICLE HEIGHT

NOTICE:
If the height control sensor link is removed, check the vehicle height.

(a) Change the height control switch from the "NORM" position to the "HIGH" position and back to the "NORM" position again.

(b) for Front 2WD:

Measure the vehicle height    See: Alignment/Service and Repair/Front Wheel Alignment.

(c) for Front AWD:

Measure the vehicle height    See: Alignment/Service and Repair/Front Wheel Alignment.

6. ADJUST VEHICLE HEIGHT

NOTICE:
If the height control sensor has been replaced, be sure to adjust the vehicle height.

(a) Adjust the vehicle height    See: Adjustments.

7. PERFORM INITIALIZATION

(a) Perform initialization    See: Testing and Inspection/Programming and Relearning.

NOTICE:
Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

8. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT

(a) Check the SRS warning light    See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Testing and Inspection/Initial Inspection and Diagnostic

Overview/Diagnosis System.

9. ADJUST HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY

(a) Adjust the headlight    See: Lighting and Horns/Headlamp/Adjustments.
