Tire Pressure Monitor Receiver / Transponder: Service and Repair
Removal
TIRE AND WHEEL: TIRE PRESSURE WARNING RECEIVER (w/ Antenna): REMOVAL
1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt
pretensioner activation.
NOTICE:
After the engine switch is turned off, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory
and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative
(-) battery terminal.
2. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the roof headlining for standard body See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Roof Headlining (for Standard Body)/Removal.
(b) Remove the roof headlining for long body See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Roof Headlining (for Long Body)/Removal.
3. REMOVE TIRE PRESSURE WARNING RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (w/ Antenna)
(a) Disconnect the receiver connector.
(b) Remove the nut and receiver.
