INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK FOR DTC

(a) Clear the DTCs    See: Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes/Rear Sunshade System.

(b) Check for DTCs    See: Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes/Rear Sunshade System.

2. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (BODY NO. 4)

(a) Select the Active Test, use the Techstream to generate a control command, and then check that the shade raises/lowers    See: Scan Tool

Body No. 4

OK:

Rear sunshade raises or lowers.

NG --  INSPECT FUSE (RR S/SHADE)
OK -- Continue to next step.

3. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (BODY NO. 4)

(a) Use the Data List to check if the rear sunshade limit switch is functioning properly    See: Scan Tool Testing and Procedures/Rear
