Removal

AUDIO / VISUAL: DISC PLAYER (for Ottoman): REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY 

2. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH See: Starting and Charging/Battery

3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
-

When disconnecting the cable some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected  See: Testing and Inspection/Programming
and Relearning/Repair Instruction - Initialization.

After the power switch is turned OFF, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory
and settings. As a result, after turning the power switch OFF, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-)
battery terminal.

4. REMOVE REAR LOWER SEAT CONSOLE BOX COVER See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Console/Service and Repair/Rear

5. REMOVE REAR SEAT CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Console/Service and Repair/Rear

6. REMOVE REAR SEAT REAR CONSOLE BOX PANEL See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Console/Service and Repair/Rear

Console Box (for Ottoman)/Disassembly

7. REMOVE DISC PLAYER CONTROLLER WITH BRACKET

(a) Disconnect all the connectors and remove the 2 clips.

(b) Remove the 4 bolts and disc player.
