2UR-FSE EMISSION CONTROL: HYDROCARBON ADSORBER CATALYST SWITCHING VALVE: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Engine

Assembly/Removal

2. REMOVE HYDROCARBON ADSORBER CATALYST SWITCHING VALVE

(a) Disconnect the hydrocarbon adsorber catalyst switching valve connector.
(b) Disconnect the 2 air hoses from the hydrocarbon adsorber catalyst switching valve.
(c) Remove the bolt and hydrocarbon adsorber catalyst switching valve.
