When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected  See: Testing and
Inspection/Programming and Relearning/Repair Instruction - Initialization.

After the power switch is turned off, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and
settings. As a result, after turning the power switch off, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery
terminal.

5. INSPECT REAR UPPER NO. 1 CONTROL ARM BALL JOINT RATTLE See: Steering and Suspension/Suspension/Control Arm/Testing and

Inspection/Rear Upper Arm/On-Vehicle Inspection

6. INSPECT REAR UPPER NO. 2 CONTROL ARM BALL JOINT RATTLE See: Steering and Suspension/Suspension/Control Arm/Testing and

Inspection/Rear Upper Arm/On-Vehicle Inspection

7. INSPECT REAR NO. 1 SUSPENSION ARM BALL JOINT RATTLE See: Steering and Suspension/Suspension/Control Arm/Testing and

Inspection/Rear Lower Arm/On-Vehicle Inspection

8. INSPECT TOE CONTROL LINK BALL JOINT RATTLE See: Steering and Suspension/Suspension/Rear Knuckle Alignment Link/Testing and

Inspection/On-Vehicle Inspection

9. DISCONNECT LOAD SENSING VALVE SENSOR BRACKET LH

(a) Remove the bolt and disconnect the sensor bracket.

10. DISCONNECT LOAD SENSING VALVE SENSOR BRACKET RH

HINT: Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

11. REMOVE NO. 2 DIFFERENTIAL SUPPORT PROTECTOR

(a) Remove the 3 nuts and support protector.

12. REMOVE NO. 1 DIFFERENTIAL SUPPORT PROTECTOR

(a) Remove the 3 nuts and support protector.
