Mass Air Flow Meter: Service and Repair

MASS AIR FLOW METER (MAF) REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

REMOVAL

1. Remove air cleaner cap and MAF meter assembly

-

Disconnect the MAF meter connector and wire clamp.

-

Disconnect the cruise control actuator cable.

-

Loosen the air cleaner hose clamp.

-

Remove the wing nut.

-

Disconnect the 3 clips.

-

Disconnect the MAF meter from the air cleaner hose, and remove the air cleaner cap and MAF meter assembly.
