A.

Replace the front disc rotors, shims brake pad support plates and brake pads.

NOTE:

If the vehicle had been previously repaired under TSIB BR002-99, Front Brake Squeal Noise, dated April 2, 1999, and has a reoccurrence of front
brake squeal noise, clean the disc rotors, brake pads, and replace the brake pad support plates only.

B.

Replace the brake pad support plates.

NOTE:

At the time of the pad support plate installation, perform the following items.

1.

Wipe off the dust, water, oil, etc. from the torque plate where the pad support plate is glued.

2.

Peel the backing paper from the adhesive tape and install the pad support plate.

3.

Press the pad support plate firmly to the torque plate.
