Cowl Louver Area

1.

Remove cowl cover.

Follow the instructions in TIS, 2004 model year RX 330 Repair Manual: Windshield/windowglass/mirror: Windshield Glass for the removal
of the cowl cover.

2.

Cut 8 pieces of felt in the following dimensions:

Length: 40 mm (1.57 in.)
Width: 10 mm (0.39 in.)
Thickness: 1.5 mm (0.06 in.)

3. Wrap each of the 8 claws with felt.

TRAC OFF Switch Area

1.

Follow the precautions and instructions to remove the lower instrument finish panel sub-assembly as identified in TIS, 2004 model year RX 330
Repair Manual: Instrument Panel/Meter: Instrument Panel Safety Pad Sub-Assembly: Precaution and Replacement

2.

Locate the TRAC OFF switch wire harness that contacts the A/C duct for the floor.

3.

Wrap the switch wire harness with sponge foam tape where contact between the wire harness and ducting is made.
