Warranty Information

APPLICABLE WARRANTY

^ This repair is covered under the Lexus Comprehensive Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 48 months or 50,000 miles, whichever occurs first,

from the vehicle's in-service date.

^ Warranty application is limited to correction of a problem based upon a customer's specific complaint.

Repair Procedure

1. Visually inspect both sides for cracks at the seam above the upper back door strut mounting bracket.

A. If water is present proceed to step 2 of the repair procedure.

B. If No water is present STOP The source of water is coming from a different location. This TSIB does NOT apply.

2. Send the vehicle to the body shop.

3. Repair the back door strut mount bracket area by performing recommended repair procedures. Refer to the Technical Information System (TIS) and

the following paper manuals:
