The Junction Block has a part label affixed as shown. Verify that the fourth (4th) digit of the upper 8-digit number on the label is a "2" (previous parts
would be a "1").

Is the part number check digit identified as "2"?

- Yes  The car is already equipped with countermeasure parts. Perform A/C system diagnostics. Refer to the Technical Information System (TIS),
2005 model year RX 330 Repair Manual: Diagnostics: Air Conditioning System: Pre-Check.

- No  Continue to step 5.

5. Disconnect the eight (8) connectors from Junction Block No. 2.

6. Remove the engine compartment Junction Block.

7. Reassemble the Junction Block, using the NEW countermeasure part, in reverse order.

8. Re-initialize power systems.

- For 2004 model year RX 330 vehicles, refer to TSIB No. PG002-03, "Pre-Delivery (PDS) Information for RX 330."

- For 2005 model year RX 330 vehicles, refer to TSIB No. PD010-05, "Power System Initialization During PDS."

9. Verify that the combination meter and air conditioning are functioning properly.
