Follow the precautions and instructions to remove the dash pad sub-assembly as identified in TIS, 2004 model year RX 330 Repair Manual:
Instrument Panel/Meter: Instrument Panel Safety Pad Sub-Assembly: Precaution and Replacement.

2.

Flip dash pad so that it is upside down.

3.

Locate instrument panel wire harness that runs along the underside of the dash pad above the defrost ducting.

4.

Wrap connector using sponge foam tape.
