Follow the precautions and instructions to remove the driver's side vent and cup holder as identified in TIS, 2004 model year RX 330 Repair
Manual: Instrument Panel/Meter: Instrument Panel Safety Pad Sub-Assembly: Precaution and Replacement.
2.
Locate the remote control mirror switch wire harness where it contacts the cup holder.
3.
Wrap sponge tape around remote control mirror switch wire harness where it contacts the cup holder.

Repair Procedure 7
Instrument Panel Front Area (Insertion Pins)/Bulkhead/HVAC Cover Insulation
1.
Locate the 3 white insertion clips that contact the bulkhead.
2.
Remove the 3 white insertion clips by removing the Phillips-head screws.
