NOTE:  Adjust the height as precisely as possible.

C. From the center of the front (center of the emblem) and rear bumpers, hang down the sharp-pointed weight and mark the center points of the

vehicle on the ground (both front and rear).

D. Fix one end of the string to the rear center mark and adjust the other end so that the string will line up with the front center mark of the vehicle.

Make a mark 5 m (16.5 ft) from the front of the vehicle where the string and the front vehicle center mark intersect.

E. From the 5 m (16.5 ft) marked position, measure an offset distance of 350 mm (13.75 in.) to the right and place the reflector there.

NOTE:  Perform the reflector placement as precisely as possible.
