Using a screwdriver, disengage the 7 retaining tabs and 3 clips, to remove the scuff plate.
HINT:
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

Remove Instrument Panel Finish Panel Sub-Assembly Lower.

Remove the bolt <B> and the screw <D>.
B.
Disconnect the hood lock control cable assembly.
C.
Disengage the 5 retaining tabs and 4 clips to remove the instrument panel finish panel sub-assembly lower.
3.
Remove Floor Carpet Cover Center LH.
