Reinstall the new light switch into the brake pedal support.

1.

Rotate the light switch so that the clearance between the thread portion tip and the area where the pedal makes contact is between 0.5
and 2.4 mm (0.020 in. and 0.095 in.).

2.

Tighten the lock nut.

Torque:

17 Nm (173 kgf.cm, 13 ft.lbf)

3.

Reconnect the connector to the light switch.

CONFIRM BRAKE PEDAL OPERATION

(a)

Confirm that the brake lights turn on when the brake pedal is depressed and turns off when released.

10.

REINSTALL THE INSTRUMENT FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY LOWER

(a)

Reconnect the connectors.

(b)

Reinstall the instrument finish panel subassembly lower.

(c)

Reconnect the hood lock control cable assembly.

(d)

Reinstall the bolt <B> and the screw <D>.
