THEFT DETERRENT / KEYLESS ENTRY: CERTIFICATION ECU: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY)

(a) Engage the 2 craws and install the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly).

2. INSTALL ECU INTEGRATION BOX RH   See: Collision Avoidance and Parking Assist Systems/Parking Assist Control Module/Service and

3. CONNECT CONNECTOR HOLDER   See: Collision Avoidance and Parking Assist Systems/Parking Assist Control Module/Service and

4. INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument

5. INSTALL PASSENGER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY   See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Air Bag/Service and Repair/Removal

and Replacement/Knee Airbag Assembly (for Front Passenger Side)/Installation

6. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL GARNISH RH   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and

7. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard /

8. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

13. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected    See: Testing and

14. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
