(a) Turn the engine switch off.

(b) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(c) Turn the engine switch on (IG) and wait for 10 seconds.

(d) Turn the Techstream on.

(e) Perform "HEALTH CHECK" and check for current DTCs    See: Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview/Safety Connect

System/Health Check.

(a) Check "DCM OPERATION HISTORY"    See: Scan Tool Testing and Procedures/DCM Operation History.

If there was a communication problem in the past but the communications are working correctly now, it is possible that the source of
the problem was temporary radio interference, or the vehicle may have been outside the service area.

5. REPLACE DCM (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER)

(a) Replace the DCM (Telematics Transceiver)    See: Service and Repair/Removal.

Do not swap the DCM (Telematics Transceiver) with one from another vehicle.
