Removal

Up to 08/2009

DOOR / HATCH: POWER BACK DOOR DRIVE UNIT: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY

HINT
Refer to the procedure up to Remove Roof Headlining Assembly    See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and
Repair/Removal and Replacement/Removal.

2. REMOVE UPPER BACK WINDOW PANEL TRIM   See: Service and Repair/Overhaul/Disassembly

3. REMOVE REAR ROOF SIDE RAIL PAD LH

(a) Disengage the 2 fasteners and remove the rear roof side rail pad LH.

4. REMOVE POWER BACK DOOR UNIT ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 2 bolts.

(b) Disconnect the connector.

(c) Remove the 5 bolts.

(d) Disengage the claw and remove the power back door unit assembly as shown in the illustration.
