Grille: Service and Repair
Removal

EXTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: RADIATOR GRILLE: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER   See: Bumper/Front Bumper/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Removal

2. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH   See: Bumper/Front Bumper/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Removal

3. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL   See: Bumper/Front Bumper/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Removal

4. REMOVE HOOD CENTER CUSHION   See: Bumper/Front Bumper/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Removal

5. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY   See: Bumper/Front Bumper/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Removal

6. REMOVE HOOD TO RADIATOR GRILLE SEAL

(a) Using a clip remover, disconnect the 16 clips and remove the hood to radiator grille seal.

7. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE

(a) Remove the 2 clips.

(b) Disengage the 10 claws and 2 guides to remove the radiator grille.

8. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE EMBLEM (w/o Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System)

HINT
When removing the mouldings, heat the vehicle radiator grille and radiator grille emblem using a heat light.

Heating Temperature

NOTICE:
Do not heat the vehicle radiator grille or radiator grille emblem excessively.

(a) Put protective tape around the radiator grille emblem.
