THEFT DETERRENT / KEYLESS ENTRY: ELECTRICAL KEY OSCILLATOR (for Rear Side): REMOVAL

2. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT SIDE COVER PROTECTOR   See: Steering and Suspension/Suspension/Suspension Control (

Automatic - Electronic )/Compressor/Pump/Service and Repair/Removal

3. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ASSEMBLY   See: Bumper/Rear Bumper/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Removal

4. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER   See: Bumper/Rear Bumper/Service and Repair/Overhaul/Disassembly

5. REMOVE ELECTRICAL KEY OSCILLATOR (ELECTRICAL KEY ANTENNA)

(a) Disconnect the connector.

(b) Remove the 2 nuts and electrical key oscillator (electrical key antenna).

NOTICE:
Be careful when removing the electrical key oscillator (electrical key antenna). If the oscillator is dropped, replace it with a new one.

1. INSTALL ELECTRICAL KEY OSCILLATOR (ELECTRICAL KEY ANTENNA)

(a) Install the electrical key oscillator (electrical key antenna) with the 2 nuts.

NOTICE:
Be careful when installing the electrical key oscillator (electrical key antenna). If the oscillator is dropped, replace it with a new one.

(b) Connect the connector.

2. INSTALL REAR BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER   See: Bumper/Rear Bumper/Service and Repair/Overhaul/Reassembly

3. INSTALL REAR BUMPER ASSEMBLY   See: Bumper/Rear Bumper/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Installation
