5. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard /
Instrument Panel/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Removal
6. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL GARNISH LH See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and

7. REMOVE NO. 1 SWITCH HOLE BASE See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and
Repair/Removal and Replacement/Removal
8. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard /
Instrument Panel/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Removal
9. REMOVE DRIVER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Air Bag/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Knee Airbag Assembly (for Driver Side)/Removal
10. REMOVE NO. 4 AIR DUCT SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Disengage the claw and guide, and remove the No. 4 air duct sub-assembly.
NOTICE:
Do not damage the claw or guide.
11. REMOVE BRAKE PEDAL RETURN SPRING
(a) Remove the brake pedal return spring from the push rod pin and instrument panel reinforcement.
12. REMOVE STOP LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY See: Lighting and Horns/Brake Light Switch/Service and Repair/Removal
13. SEPARATE BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER PUSH ROD CLEVIS
(a) Remove the clip and push rod pin, and separate the brake master cylinder push rod clevis from the brake pedal sub-assembly.
14. REMOVE BRAKE PEDAL SUPPORT ASSEMBLY
