Power Distribution Module: Service and Repair
Installation

Up to 08/2009

POWER DISTRIBUTION: POWER MANAGEMENT CONTROL ECU: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL POWER MANAGEMENT CONTROL ECU

(a) Install the power management control ECU with the 2 nuts.

Torque : 9.5 Nm (97 kgf-cm, 84 in-lbf)

(b) Connect the 2 connectors.

2. INSTALL DRIVER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY   See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Air Bag/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/Knee Airbag Assembly (for Driver Side)/Installation

3. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard /

Instrument Panel/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Installation

4. INSTALL NO. 1 SWITCH HOLE BASE   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and

Repair/Removal and Replacement/Installation

5. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL GARNISH LH   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and

Repair/Removal and Replacement/Installation

6. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard /

Instrument Panel/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Installation

7. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and Repair/Removal

and Replacement/Installation

8. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/Installation

9. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected    See: Testing and
Inspection/Programming and Relearning/Repair Instruction - Initialization.

10. INSPECT SUSPENSION CONTROL SYSTEM (w/ Air Suspension)

(a) Inspect the suspension control system    See: Steering and Suspension/Suspension/Testing and Inspection/Component Tests and General

Diagnostics/Air Suspension System/Test Mode Procedure.

11. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT

(a) Inspect the SRS warning light    See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Testing and Inspection/Initial Inspection and Diagnostic

Overview/Diagnosis System.
