Crankshaft Position Sensor: Service and Repair
Removal
Up to 08/2009
2GR-FE ENGINE CONTROL: CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR: REMOVAL
1. PRECAUTION (w/ Air Suspension)
NOTICE:
Be sure to read Precaution thoroughly before servicing See: Steering and Suspension/Suspension/Service Precautions/Suspension
Control System.
2. REMOVE COMPRESSOR AND MAGNETIC CLUTCH
(a) Remove the compressor and magnetic clutch See: Heating and Air Conditioning/Compressor HVAC/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Removal.
3. REMOVE CRANK POSITION SENSOR
(a) Disconnect the crank position sensor connector.
(b) Remove the bolt and crank position sensor.
