6. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

8. INSTALL OUTER COWL TOP PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Brakes and Traction Control/Hydraulic System/Brake Master Cylinder/Service

9. INSTALL FRONT SHOCK ABSORBER CAP (w/ Air Suspension) See: Steering and Suspension/Suspension/Suspension Strut / Shock

10. INSTALL WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK ASSEMBLY
(a) Install the windshield wiper motor and link assembly See: Wiper and Washer Systems/Wiper Motor/Service and Repair/Front Wiper
Motor/Installation.
11. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
HINT
Initialization cannot be completed by only disconnecting and reconnecting the cable of the negative (-) battery terminal.
(a) The Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) must be input into a replacement ECM See: Testing and Inspection/Programming and
Relearning/Repair Instruction - Initialization.
(b) If the ECM has been replaced, register the ECM communication ID for the immobiliser system See: Testing and Inspection/Programming
and Relearning/Repair Instruction - Initialization.
(c) Perform Initialization when replacing the ECM See: Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Throttle Body/Service and Repair/Installation.
