7. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system  
  See: Restraint
Systems/Air Bag Systems/Service Precautions.

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected  
  See: Testing and
Inspection/Programming and Relearning/Repair Instruction - Initialization.

8. REMOVE NO. 2 AIR CLEANER INLET   See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Engine

9. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET   See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Engine

11. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER

12. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT   See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Cooling System/Coolant/Service and Repair

13. REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY   See: Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Throttle Body/Service and Repair/Removal

14. REMOVE INTAKE AIR SURGE TANK ASSEMBLY   See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Intake Manifold/Service and Repair/Removal

15. REMOVE NO. 1 SURGE TANK STAY   See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Engine

Unit/Removal

16. REMOVE IGNITION COIL ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the 3 wire harness clamps.

(b) Disconnect the 6 ignition coil connectors.

(c) Remove the 6 bolts and 6 ignition coils.

17. REMOVE SPARK PLUG

(a) Remove the 6 spark plugs.
