CAUTION:
When storing the front passenger side knee airbag assembly, keep the airbag deployment side facing upward.

(a) Check that the engine switch is off.

(b) Check that the cable is disconnected from the negative (-) battery terminal.

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

(c) Put protective tape around the front passenger side knee airbag assembly.

(d) Remove the 3 bolts.

(e) Disengage the claw and 2 pins to separate the front passenger side knee airbag assembly.

(f) Using a screwdriver with the tip wrapped with protective tape, disconnect the airbag connector to remove the front passenger side knee airbag

assembly.

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.

1. INSTALL FRONT PASSENGER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

(a) Check that the engine switch is off.

(b) Check that the cable is disconnected from the negative (-) battery terminal.
