Refrigerant Pressure Sensor / Switch: Service and Repair
Installation

Up to 08/2009

HEATING / AIR CONDITIONING: AIR CONDITIONING PRESSURE SENSOR: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL AIR CONDITIONING PRESSURE SENSOR

(a) Sufficiently apply compressor oil to a new air conditioning pressure sensor.

Compressor oil:

ND-OIL 8 or equivalent

(b) Install the new air conditioning pressure sensor.

Torque : 11 Nm (110 kgf-cm, 8 ft-lbf)

NOTICE:
*

Do not deform the piping.

*

Make sure to confirm that the piping does not disengage from the plastic clamp.

(c) Connect the connector.

2. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER   See: Body and Frame/Bumper/Front Bumper/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/Installation

3. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected

4. CHARGE WITH REFRIGERANT   See: Heating and Air Conditioning/Service and Repair

5. WARM UP ENGINE   See: Heating and Air Conditioning/Service and Repair

6. INSPECT FOR REFRIGERANT LEAK   See: Heating and Air Conditioning/Service and Repair
