Front Shock Absorber (w/ Air Suspension)

FRONT SUSPENSION: FRONT SHOCK ABSORBER (w/ Air Suspension): INSPECTION
1. INSPECT FRONT PNEUMATIC WITH SHOCK ABSORBER CYLINDER ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the front pneumatic cylinder inner cover See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Front Shock Absorber (w/ Air
Suspension)/Removal.
(b) Inspect front pneumatic with shock absorber cylinder assembly operation.

(1) Compress and expand the front pneumatic with shock absorber cylinder assembly 4 or more times.
(2) Fully extend the rolling diaphragm and check that the rolling diaphragm is not damaged or cracked.
If damage or cracks exist, replace the front pneumatic with shock absorber cylinder assembly.
(3) Inspect the front pneumatic with shock absorber cylinder assembly.

Be sure not to cover the connection part for the No. 4 height control tube when compressing and expanding the front pneumatic
with shock absorber cylinder assembly.
