5. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected    See: Testing and

6. REMOVE INLET NO. 2 AIR CLEANER   See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Engine

7. REMOVE INLET NO. 1 AIR CLEANER   See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Engine

8. REMOVE BATTERY   See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Engine Assembly/Removal

9. REMOVE AIR CLEANER BRACKET

(a) Remove the 3 bolts and air cleaner bracket.

10. REMOVE TCM

(a) Turn the lock lever and disconnect the connector from the TCM.

(b) Remove the 2 bolts and TCM from the transaxle.
