(b) Using a hexagon wrench (10 mm), remove the rear differential drain plug and gasket to drain the differential oil.

(c) Using a hexagon wrench (10 mm), install the rear differential drain plug with a new gasket.

Torque : 39 Nm (398 kgf-cm, 29 ft-lbf)

(d) Using a hexagon wrench (10 mm), temporarily install the differential inspection plug.

HINT
Add differential oil before installing a new gasket and fully tightening the differential inspection plug.

5. REMOVE REAR DIFFERENTIAL SIDE GEAR SHAFT OIL SEAL

(a) Using SST, remove the rear differential side gear shaft oil seal from the differential carrier assembly.

SST : 09308-00010

6. INSTALL REAR DIFFERENTIAL SIDE GEAR SHAFT OIL SEAL

(a) Using SST and a hammer, install a new rear differential side gear shaft oil seal into the differential carrier assembly.
