Heated Glass Element Switch: Service and Repair
Installation

WINDOW / GLASS: WINDSHIELD DEICER SWITCH: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL FRONT WIPER DEICER SWITCH

(a) Engage the 2 claws and install the front wiper deicer as shown in the illustration.

2. INSTALL NO. 1 SWITCH HOLE BASE   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and

Repair/Removal and Replacement/Installation

3. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL GARNISH LH   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and

Repair/Removal and Replacement/Installation

4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (w/ Air Suspension)

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected    See: Testing and
Inspection/Programming and Relearning/Repair Instruction - Initialization.

5. INSPECT SUSPENSION CONTROL SYSTEM (w/ Air Suspension)

   See: Steering and Suspension/Suspension/Testing and Inspection/Component Tests and General Diagnostics/Air Suspension System/Test Mode

WINDOW / GLASS: WINDSHIELD DEICER SWITCH: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL FRONT WIPER DEICER SWITCH

(a) Engage the 2 claws and install the front wiper deicer as shown in the illustration.
