Is the HV Relay Assembly wet from water or does it have water damage?

^

NO - Go to step 5.

^

YES - Remove water from the HV relay area then replace the HV Relay Assembly and drain plug (located under the HV Relay Assembly).

2006 RX 400h:

2007 RX 400h:
Engine/Hybrid System - Hybrid/Battery Control System - "P310 Hybrid Battery Control: HV Relay Assembly: Removal / Installation"

2008 RX 400h:
Power Source/Network - Battery/Charging - "R310 Hybrid Battery Control: HV Relay Assembly: Removal / Installation"

5. Remove all remaining water from the HV battery case. Clean affected components as necessary. Allow components to air dry.

6. Reinstall the HV battery cover, rear seat, and related components:

7. Place vehicle into "Ready ON" mode and test drive to validate repairs.
