Multiplex Communication System - BEAN

System Outline

BEAN consists of body electrical systems such as body ECU, auto wiper ECU, A/C amplifier, airbag sensor assembly, combination meter, moon roof
control ECU, overhead J/B, rain sensor, center cluster integration panel*, tilt and telescopic ECU*, AFS ECU*, transponder key computer, power back
door ECU*, power seat control SW and ECU (Driver's seat)*, remote control mirror ECU RH*, remote control mirror ECU LH*, power window master
SW, power window control SW front RH, power window control SW rear LH, power window control SW rear RH and gateway ECU. Gateway ECU has
communication circuit to correspond with different types of communication data. Different types of communication data can be shared among
communication parts after it goes through gateway ECU. Vehicle information is input to body ECU at an assembling plant as a representative ECU
which drivers the information to other ECUs through multiplex communication.

Multiplex Communication System - CAN

System Outline

CAN has two lines sa s pair which make communication with operating voltage. CAN has excellent data speed and error detecting capacity. It consists of
vehicle control systems such as skid control ECU, yaw rate sensor, television camera ECU, hybrid vehicle control ECU, distance control ECU, steering
angle sensor, power steering ECU, data link connector 3 and gateway ECU. Gateway ECU has communication circuit to correspond with different types
of communication data. Different types of communication data can be shared among communication parts after it goes through gateway ECU.
