19. REMOVE HARD DISK DRIVE
(a) Remove the 2 screws.
(b) Using a screwdriver with its tips wrapped with protective tape, remove the hard disk drive as shown in the illustration.

NAVIGATION / MULTI INFO DISPLAY: HARD DISK DRIVE: REMOVAL
1. PRECAUTION

NOTICE:

After the power switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of
memory and settings. As a result, after turning the power switch off, make sure to wait at least 60 seconds before disconnecting the
cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

A hard disk drive (HDD) is built into the navigation receiver assembly to store map data etc. which will be used for the navigation
system. Therefore, make sure to read all of the precautions thoroughly before handling the navigation receiver assembly.
2. REMOVE REAR DECK FLOOR BOX See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Removal
3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected See: Testing and
Inspection/Programming and Relearning/Repair Instruction - Initialization.
