Removal

Up to 08/2009

POWER OUTLETS (EXT): TOWING SOCKET: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE NO. 2 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT SIDE COVER PROTECTOR   See: Body and Frame/Bumper/Rear Bumper/Service and

2. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT SIDE COVER PROTECTOR   See: Steering and Suspension/Suspension/Suspension Control (

Automatic - Electronic )/Compressor/Pump/Service and Repair/Removal

3. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ASSEMBLY   See: Body and Frame/Bumper/Rear Bumper/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Removal

4. REMOVE TOWING SOCKET

(a) Disconnect the connector.

(b) Disengage the 4 clamps.

(c) Remove the 2 bolts and towing socket.
