Applicability

Introduction

Some 2010 - 2011 model year RX 450h vehicles may exhibit a MIL "ON" condition with Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) P1423, or a fuel cap binding
upon installation or removal. Use the following repair procedure to diagnose and address this condition.

This TSIB applies to vehicles produced BEFORE the Production Change Effective VINs shown.

Warranty Information

APPLICABLE WARRANTY

This repair is covered under the Lexus Federal Emission Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 48 months or 50,000 miles, whichever occurs first,
from the vehicle's in-service date.
