Temperature Switch (Warning Indicator): Service and Repair
Installation

2GR-FXE COOLING: TEMPERATURE SWITCH: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL TEMPERATURE SWITCH

(a) Using a union nut wrench (19 mm), install a new temperature switch.

Torque : 7.4 Nm (75 kgf-cm, 65 in-lbf)

NOTICE:
Do not apply any excessive force to the cooler pipe when installing the temperature switch.

(b) Connect the temperature switch connector.

2. ADD ENGINE COOLANT (for Engine)   See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Cooling System/Coolant/Service and Repair/Coolant (for Engine)

3. INSTALL FRONT FLOOR COVER LH   See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Exhaust System/Exhaust Manifold/Service and Repair/Installation

4. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK (for Engine)   See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Cooling System/Testing and Inspection/Component Tests and

General Diagnostics/Cooling System

5. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER

6. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY   See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/Engine Assembly/Installation

7. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL   See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Engine
