^ If the terminal cannot be easily removed, repeat steps a) -> c).

Install the Terminal Into the Female Connector Body

INSTALL THE TERMINAL INTO THE FEMALE CONNECTOR BODY.

Hint:

Make sure the terminal is correctly positioned. Insert the terminal until the locking clips lock firmly.

a)

Push the terminal through the seal packing into the connector until you hear a "click".

b)

Pull the terminal back gently to check whether it is locked correctly.

Note:

Do not remove the terminal packing.

When inserting the terminal, avoid scratching, cutting, or floating the terminal packing.

If the terminal cannot be inserted easily, check the terminal and connector for the proper direction of installation.

If the terminal locking clip does not lock firmly, the terminal retainer will not lock in the full position.

Install the Terminal to the Female Connector Body.

INSTALL THE TERMINAL TO THE FEMALE CONNECTOR BODY.
