Using a screwdriver, bend the shaded area of the inner panel 2 mm away from the outer panel as shown.

NOTE:

Do not bend the outer panel. Bending the outer panel may damage the glass. If bending is more than 3 mm, the inner panel may contact the
side garnish and create additional noise.

Return the roof to the closed position and test drive.

A.

If the noise is gone, reinstall the roof side inner garnishes.

B.

If the noise is still present, repeat steps 5-7 to ensure no additional contact is being made between the inner and outer panels.

8.

Reassemble and test drive vehicle to confirm the condition is corrected.
