ACCELERATOR PEDAL AND SHAFT

REMOVAL

1. NOTE:  Make sure that the adjustable pedals assembly is at the full forward position (pedals positioned toward the front of the vehicle). The 

accelerator pedal and shaft can be serviced separately from the adjustable pedals assembly. However, the accelerator pedal and shaft itself is
serviced only as an assembly.

Remove the components in the order indicated in the illustration and table.

1. Remove the accelerator cable from the rubber plunger.
